E reached a milestone today. He assembled a Lego helicopter completely on his own from start to finish. This is quite a feat for our little man, considering it is often difficult for him to be still for any length of time. We are very proud of him and he's feeling pretty good about himself right about now; he said wanted me to send pictures to everyone. We're hoping because he put his own time and energy into making it, perhaps there will be more of an effort for it to stay together. Only time will tell.
There was one small glitch when he couldn't find a piece he needed, so I did have to help him find a part in his Lego bin. It wasn't the right color, but it works just the same. Thus, the hint of yellow under the top piece of the helicopter.
