This year will be my 7th Mother's Day. It seemed like every year Mother's Day would come and go and I would wish for the day someone would call me Mommy. It's hard to believe that day has been here each year for the past 7 years. I am grateful each and everyday for the selflessness of the birth parents who chose us to be Mommy and Daddy to their beautiful babies!

We sent some handmade artwork and cards to the birth families wishing them a Happy Mother's Day! I hope they realize how much they are thought of and loved each and everyday.

"When you honor the birth family, you honor the child. When you don't honor the birth family, the child will believe that something is inherently wrong with him/her.”

"A birthmother puts the needs of her child above the wants of her heart."

However motherhood comes to you, it's a miracle.
